Short turn pay

Extra List

The List is paid for STAS per CB&Q agreement 32B and Pilot agreement 4A.  This pays a basic day, and for more details on pay read the tab titled 2nd basic day.  Please note that each basic day is separate if you. Get a 2B.  For example, if you work 160 miles on your 1st day, and on your 2nd basic day you only run 10 miles, you are due 260 miles not 170.  You should be paid 160 miles that you ran for the 1st basic day and you are due 130 miles for the 2nd basic day.  You are also due two SPD payments.

For the pools

STAS is governed by Pilot agreement 4B iii.  It pays 1 trip rate to NTW of 143 miles, OT after 8 regardless of miles run, and MS miles run beyond 143.

Short Turn Pay

When claiming STAS pay when called out of the pool.  Use the 130-mile option for short turn service.  On your working ticket claim a code MS for any miles worked above 143. Cite all trains worked, and the miles run for each train and calculate the grand total for them.  Also do a FE and remind them you are working under La Crosse Pilot item 4B iii.  Cite that you are to be paid a 143 mile trip rate to NTW, and you are to be paid OT after 8 regardless of miles run, plus the MS miles you claimed on the MS code.
